At the invitation of the Zayed University in Abu Dhabi, the Nowy Styl Group presented its solutions at the Environmental Health and Safety EVENT 2019 – an educational exhibition held as part of a national campaign to raise the awareness of these issues among students. On 10 and 11 March, at its stand, the Group showed how well arranged workplaces can support the safety and wellbeing of employees.
“Through our solutions and services, we want to have a positive impact on the overall wellbeing of office space users. Providing a healthy workstation, ie. a chair that enables dynamic sitting and a sit-to-stand desk is the essence of wellbeing for us. But this is just the beginning.Talking with our customers, we also point out the active design trend, which is about stimulating employee mobility across the office to provide them with the physical activity they need, and we suggest designing a variety of functional areas: for concentrated work, communication, collaboration and relaxation. In this way, employees themselves can choose their favourite and most efficient way to perform tasks” says Michał Wilczyński, Director of Stylis Dubai, a company owned by the Nowy Styl Group.
When designing their solutions, the Group also gives consideration to how their production and use will interact with the environment. In its "CSR Code" reports, published every two years, the company sets itself specific targets and actions to take for sustainable development of the organisation and its environment. The report is developed in line with the GRI international reporting standard methodology and verified by independent auditors from Deloitte Advisory, because the company wants to ensure the transparency and credibility of the information contained therein.
In this way, the Nowy Styl Group responds to the needs of its increasingly conscious individual and business customers. Taking part in the EHS event gave the company an opportunity to share its experience with academic circles and government organisations grouped around the Zayed University.
Participants were particularly interested in the Tapa seat for informal meeting areas, the height-adjustable desk eModel and the extremely ergonomic Xenium chair. Prof. Reyadh Almehaideb, Vice President of the Zayed University was a special guest of the stand.
“We are looking forward to working with the Zayed University, an institution that cares about the comprehensive education of almost 7,000 students but also very consciously shapes the educational space in its modern campuses in Dubai and Abu Dhabi” adds Michał Wilczyński.
